We are two young girls who will shave all our hair off for the New Zealand Cancer Society. Please donate to help us help others.

Dear New Zealand,

We are Maddalena and Lucia, an 11 year old and a 12 year old. We are two girls who go to Kelburn Normal School in Wellington. We deeply care about others who are constantly suffering from Cancer. We have offered to shave off all our hair to raise money and awareness for the Wellington Cancer Society. We will be doing that on the 28th of October 2017. Our target is $5,000 NZD, all going to this foundation. We, along with all the fighters, would greatly appreciate if you could donate some money not just help us reach our goal, but also to help the people that are suffering from cancer. Remember, every cent counts. Please tell your family and friends about us so they can donate too.

Shaving our hair off is on our bucket lists, and Lucia has a close family member who had cancer. She is a strong survivor, but we know that she appreciates all the help she got whilst fighting cancer. That encouraged us to help others that are going through similar battles.

Shaved Heads 29 October 2017

We did it! We are beyond proud of ourselves and each other. Thanks for the great service, Snip Salon, and thank you to everyone who supported us in any way. Our hair is ready to be sent off and made into wigs for people who don’t have the privilege of having hair themselves. Don’t forget to share your privileges with others, whether that means giving a homeless person a dollar, or shaving off your hair!
