My son Jordy drowned in the flooded Waiwakaiho river on November 13, 2021. In honour of his memory I’m running a marathon on each of the 4 weekends in May. These funds will go to Surf Lifesaving New Zealand’s beach education program, to educate our young kids and help prevent further tragic drownings.

The Marathon May fundraiser is all done. All you very generous people donated a massive $37,855. So thankful to everyone that helped and or donated. I’ve been blown away by the kindness and support so thank you very much. I know this money will save lives.
