500km Cardio challenge to raise money for cancer research.
Nelson
This March I will be doing a 500km cardio challenge to raise money for the Nelson Cancer Society which is my local cancer society in New Zealand. The Nelson centre focus primarily on enhancing patient and family support systems in the Nelson and Tasman regions; improving community well-being through health promotion, providing information and resources for the local medical community and the general public and networking to improve communication links with other related organisations.
I'm sure many of you like myself have either experienced a loss or know of someone going through cancer treatments and so it is a cause that is very close to the heart and one that I would love to raise as much money as possible for so a donations would be very much appreciated!
For this 500km cardio challenge over the month I will be doing 100 km Swim (3.3km daily average), 150 km run (4.9km daily average) and a 250km bike (8.1km daily average). This is a number I came up with randomly but it will be a very challenging month so I hope we can raise lots of money in doing so.
I will be uploading all my progress via Strava and will post the link below so you can copy and paste it into Google and track how many kms have been done along the way which is a great way to push me aswell.

Please share with as many people as you can and hopefully we can raise a good amount of money for a great foundation and cause!
