    Kia ora koutou,

We're officially in the home stretch with less than one week to go until the Awa Run begins! Our team is energised, inspired, and ready for this incredible journey along the Whanganui Awa.

Thanks to your generosity, we've now raised $9,439.60 across all our Givealittle pages for the Young Neighbours Charitable Trust. We're truly humbled by the outstanding support from all who believe in this kaupapa.

The 'Next Door' initiative, supported by the Young Neighbours Trust, is at the heart of this mahi. They work with isolated communities with limited access to secondary schools.

  • Awa Run Update!

      6 November 2024

    Kia ora!

The Awa Run is creeping up on us (literally) as we are just under 3 weeks away!

So far, thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised $6,837 across all our Givealittle pages - THANK YOU! Every donation, big or small, makes a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.

Your contributions go directly to the Young Neighbours Charitable Trust, which helps provide educational opportunities for teenagers from isolated communities across Aotearoa. With limited access to secondary schools, these students often face significant challenges in continuing their education. By supporting them to attend schools within the Marist Network, you help open opportunities to new learnings and life experiences by bridging that gap in educational access.

So again, thank you! If you would like further updates, please follow us on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/youngmarists/) or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/youngmaristsaotearoa/).

    Ngā Mihi,

    The Young Marist Team
