Married couple shaves hair for cancer

My name is Ken Sims and my wife’s name is Cora. We have been married for almost 30 years.

2020 was a difficult year for many people, and became even more challenging for our family when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel cancer.

A battle with cancer isn’t easy for anyone, but during this hard time we found amazing support and a sense of community through the Cancer Society. We want to give back to this special cause, and ensure that people going through a similar struggle have access to the same resources.

We want to show our appreciation by raising funds and we will be shaving our heads together on February 12th 2022.
