Marlborough Boys' College Rugby Club 1st XV 15 Hr Challenge to raise funds for Cancer Support Accommodation
Marlborough
The Marlborough Boys' College 1st XV is completing a 15 hour challenge of fitness training to raise funds for the Cancer Society Central Division Accommodation Centre. This is a Centre where patients that live outside of Christchurch can come and stay free of charge while they are having their treatment.
The team will start training at 5am and will do both physical and mental gym rotations until 8pm. We will also be out and about in the public to help raise support for this great cause.
Challenge Done!!! 18 July 2024
Wow what an effort by the boys. 5am to 8pm of both physical and mental challenges. Its fair to say there were some pretty tired boys at the end of the day, but looking back, they all felt so proud to complete the challenge, raise some money and bond as a team. Many thanks to those that were involved and a big thanks to our loyal sponsors, supporters and families for all that they provided on the day and throughout the season.
