Medical capacity building in a small way for an island nation.
Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty
When I was volunteering with Mercyships in Madagascar I met lots of amazing locals with great potential.
Unfortunately they struggled with finding work or opportunities to finance their dreams.
I love the idea of medical capacity building and decided to sponsor Tahina through nursing school. After lots of hard work by him he is now a registered nurse.
Mercyships are returning to Madagascar 2024 and I would love him to volunteer to help his own people and work with medical staff from all over the world. He will gain skills he now can only dream of. He is very excited about this possibility.
He needs funding to pay the fees to Mercyships and also to keep his family fed and bills paid.
The ultimate success of mercyships and any aid organisation is not to be needed anymore.
Will you consider helping to make this dream come true.

Thank you to all of you for your generosity. We are still waiting for final confirmation on what the service will look like for Tahina, but I know it will happen, and it will be perfect for him. Praise God.
