I AM very happy with the result, so pleased to have crossed the finish line. Many memories from the day, people and places around the course. Congratulations Whaka100 team, a superb event. A huge thanks to all the supporters of this cause, without you there would be no fundraiser. Much love to all.

  • Check out Black Sheep Cycling.

Thank-you to Brie at Black Sheep, soon I will be wearing/ riding in their I AM Collection kit. All the best to the team for their initiatives.

For their (annual) Man Ride 2019 the Mental Health focus is on an early-stage intervention. The answer to a question. That question: 'How are you?'. Simple. But complicated.

This year the kit had a few symbols that resonate with Mental Health. The strong blue and yellow colour palette certainly has a deeper meaning and was created by Black Sheep Co-Founder John Polson. The blue symbolises the worldwide mental health awareness movement – a colour that displays power and confidence, but also vulnerability. The fluorescent yellow flag is for you to define everyday. A reminder to acknowledge how you feel, and potentially a symbol of activism. You can read more at link below:

  • To be hairy or not to be hairy?

      19 September 2019

That is the question/challenge - to be hairy or not to be hairy?

The first $250 donation to this great cause will see me remove the hair from my legs. I will go hairless for the Whaka 100!!!

    That's a big deal 😳👍😊.
