Donating for Development: Help Con and Mary Make a Meaningful Impact in Fiji

As many of you are already aware, in April 2023 we are heading over to Suva, Fiji to undertake six months of volunteering with Volunteer Services Abroad (VSA). VSA are an epic New Zealand volunteer agency who partner with local organisations in the Pacific to identify areas where skilled people may be able to provide additional support.

We have been fortunate enough to both receive volunteer positions in Suva based organisations. Connor will be working with International Planned Parenthood to support their financial sustainability, while Mary will be working with the South Pacific Tourism Organisation on strategy and donor relationship work.

As a voluntary organisation, VSA receives a majority of their funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to build capacity in the Pacific region. There is however a shortfall in this funding, and as volunteers we are seeking to raise $1,000 each to help cover part of it.
