A group of Wellingtonians are banding together to raise some funds for Wellington City Mission by doing a lot of exercise over 24 hours.

In the classic Wellington spirit of togetherness we want to do a bit to help out the part of our community that needs it most. We’ve noticed that there’s been an extra few Wellingtonians on the trails lately so we thought we’d put your new-found running skills to the test. We are fundraising for Wellington City Mission so that they can continue to supply food parcels to those who need it.

So what’s the challenge?
Exercise, a lot of exercise….
Everyone participating will exercising for 1 hour every four hours starting at midnight on Friday the 1st May and ending at 8pm on Saturday the 2nd of May. That’s 6 hours of exercise in total! The only requirements: you must be able to do the exercise for the whole hour, you must be able to do it safely and you must also comply with the current Covid-19 rules. Other than that, go ham!
