Donate to join the 7 day Move for Rural Mental Health Challenge!
Times are tough for many on farms and in rural areas. The Rural Change programme proudly funds mental health support for all New Zealand food and fibre producers including livestock farmers, cropping farmers, horticulture, rural mums and partners, shearers, rural based vets and rural professionals.
However due to the devastating impacts of Cyclone Gabriel in Hawke's Bay and Tairawhiti, The Rural Change programme went on hold earlier this year when it became inundated with applicants for their service. However, they are now funding this waitlist - thanks to donations like ours.
Nationwide - Rural people deserve access to mental health support and YOU AND I CAN HELP!
Introducing Move for Rural Mental Health:
- Donate as much or as little as you can.
- By donating, this gives you access to the 7 day Move for Rural Mental Health Challenge. After you have donated you will receive an email with a link to download the movement planner.
- Move your body in any way you wish for the 7 days. Exercise has so many positive impacts on our mental and physical health and wellbeing.
- There are INCREDIBLE prizes up for grabs each day. To go in the draw, comment and/or post a picture of the movement you did that day on the associated Facebook post on the Kate Ivey Fitness or What's For Smoko (Philippa Cameron) pages.
Donate now to support rural mental health! Challenge starts Mon 21st Aug 2023.

Thank You 29 August 2023
Thank you all so much for your donations and for supporting mental health in our rural communities.
Together we have raised over $10,000 for mental health, which is around 70 mental health sessions. We have also put the spotlight back on mental health, including for those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.
A massive well done to everyone who took part in the 7 day movement challenge too. It was a great week!
Thanks again for your support!
