Moving for Little Smiles

This October, Snatch & Snack Club is supporting Radio Lollipop — a volunteer-run charity bringing comfort, fun and positivity to children in hospitals across New Zealand.

Hospital stays can be terrifying and stressful for children and their families. As a Radio Lollipop volunteer, I’ve seen how our visits can help bring back a little sense of normalcy and, even just for a moment, allow kids to simply be kids.

Whether that’s dancing through bubbles, getting competitive over a game of Connect 4, creating something together, or boosting a child’s hope and confidence by making paper planes, these little moments can make a huge difference. Seeing a child light up, laugh or forget they’re in hospital for a moment is something I’ll never take for granted.

That’s why we’re bringing our community together through movement, connection and a little sweetness, while raising funds to support the incredible work Radio Lollipop does.
