Muddy Merino Madness!

    My Tuki costume is on it's way to NZ! I shipped it via YouShop (a fantastic service from New Zealand Post which provides you with a US delivery address for items you have bought online and allows you to send them easily to NZ) and they gave me a generous discount to help me pay for the shipping costs to get it here. I've also designed the tshirt that Tuki will be wearing... so things are on a roll! Thanks for your support so far!

  • Step one - getting the costume!

    Ok so the first part of this challenge is to get the costume from the states. I found it at Amazon here: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00558UHAK/ but shipping is horrific, so I'm going to try and send it through youshop to see if I can get it to New Zealand a bit cheaper. This part i'm funding myself! Once it's here, I am going to design and print a custom tshirt - with Tuki on the front, and the Humane Society details on the back. So on payday (friday) - step 1 should be underway!

  • What's it all about?

    Hi, I'm Corinne, and I run Obstacle Racers NZ with my husband, Dan. In April, I had a crazy idea - I wanted to run a 5km muddy obstacle race dressed as our mascot, Tuki (the merino ram), to raise money for an awesome charity - The Humane Society of NZ. The Humane Society is a charity that is run completely by volunteers, with the aim to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need.
