A concert to raise funds and awareness for DCM, who support Wellingtonians without money, food, or shelter.

Wellington

Some of Wellington’s favourite musicians are lining up to raise money for DCM in a show-stopper of an event. “Musicians for DCM” will see Barnaby Weir (The Black Seeds), Ebony Lamb (Eb and Sparrow), Eva Prowse and Darren Watson take the stage, backed up by up by The Hard Core Troubadours, including Wayne Mason, one of NZ’s top singer-songwriters.

Led by Rob Joass, Musicians for DCM is aimed at helping DCM help the Wellingtonians who have the least, knowing that every cent of every dollar raised goes straight into helping those with little access to money, food and shelter.

This page is for those who would like to help support the event, but are unable to attend the concert.

Rob Joass' involvement (page creator)

I set up this event after my old friend and fellow Troubadour Al Norman told me about his work at the DCM and about how they struggled to meet all the requests for help that they received over the christmas period. I have been active in the Wellington music community for over 20 years, decided to put together this event. My friends in the music community were quick to jump on board.
