Once upon a time ... In 1950 the release of Walt Disney’s Cinderella captured children’s hearts around the world. This year MWH decided to re-imagine this vision and build Cinderella’s carriage out of cans – CANderella - raising the ordinary to the extraordinary.

The carriage is a symbol of the journey that takes Cinderella from her current life to her fairytale life that will be. We hope that by providing these cans of food to families in need we are helping them on their journey forward also.

These cans, while ordinary, can become extraordinary in many ways; whether they are stacked to make a magical can masterpiece, or more simply combined to make a meal enough to feed a family in need at Christmas time.

This is only a small part of what can be achieved when people combine their efforts and come together for a good cause like the Christchurch City Mission.

Our team members:

Ryan D’Souza, Laura Laird, Jeremy O’Neill, Isobel Oldfield, James Harvey and Daniel Goodman.
