Nicole Pipe - Running 4 Josie's 2nd Ear

I want to run for Josie. I was never a runner before I met Josie. Josie came into my life firstly as the best neighbour one could hope for. She is kind, caring, uplifting and inspirational. She always has plenty of time and empathy for others, attributes which serve her well in her nursing career and saw us form a sister-like friendship for years to come.

It was Josie that encouraged me to join her in attending Mount Runners - something which has become a passion and changed my life. Now I want to help change hers. She has grown so much in confidence, gets so much more out of life and family since receiving her first cochlear implant. This has been an incredibly emotional journey for Josie, so let's finish it! How awesome is it that she has captained our running club for over a year now??! Another amazing achievement in Josie's life. One for which we are grateful most days!!!

So - For Josie - let's do it!!! I would love your support as I run 21.1km in the Tauranga (Half) International Marathon on October 7.
