Challenging myself to raise money for a cause that’s important to me!
Wellington
I have challenged myself to compete in the Taupo IRONMAN 70.3 to fundraise for Parkinson's NZ. Both my soon to be mother in law and my Nana have Parkinson’s and their journeys have been incredibly challenging - so I want to do what I can to support a charity that supports them and those who are impacted by the disease!
It's important to understand that Parkinson's is more than the shakes, in fact my Mother in law Sonia doesn’t even shake. She was diagnosed at 42 years old and it has robbed her of her mobility, freedom and independence. The things we take for granted like walking, eating and breathing have become a daily challenge.
By supporting this give a little page you are not only helping my family but also thousands of other people impacted by Parkinson’s across New Zealand.
Thanks Jack - good to catch up!
