    The Final Countdown...

A song by Swedish rock bank Europe, released in 1986. Written by Joey Tempest, it was based on a keyboard riff he made in the early 80's, inspired by David Bowie's "Space Oddity".

Of course, we all knew that! Another stunning morning pounding the pavement. That's my supporters at it again in the photo! Wahoo...

"I've learned that fear limits you and your vision, it serves as blinders to what may be just a few steps down the road for you. The journey is valuable, but believing in your talents, your abilities, and your self-worth can empower you to walk down an even brighter path. Transforming fear into freedom - how great is that?" - Soledad O'Brien

Wow, where has this month gone?

Two mornings left and my challenge will be complete.

Join me for the last walk - Thursday 28th Feb, 6am water front out side Annabelles. It'll be great to have a big team for the final day.

    Why am I doing this...

I want to help educate women of New Zealand and their families on the signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer.

    Know your own body...

Does something feel 'not quite right'?

    You are not 'OVARY Acting'...

    Seek medical advice...

Ovarian cancer is the name given to cancer affecting the ovaries. Among reproductive cancers it ranks second only to breast cancer in females.

    - Ovarian cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer death in New Zealand women.

    - Cancer can occur in the ovary at any age!

    Let's SAVE LIVES

    LEARN - the early signs

LISTEN - to your body - what is 'normal' for you?

ACT - see your doctor early

5.35km 51:41min (record time..., it's definitely darker in the mornings at 6am!

Tomorrow is the last weekend day in Feb, so anyone wanting to join in for a Sunday stroll, 7am opposite Annabelles in St Heliers.
