    Mark Saunders - Captain Mark Saunders is a previous national representative swimmer and holder of Masters World Age Group records in both butterfly and medley events. Mark has also contributed to other areas in the sport from coaching at Te Puke Swimming Club to manager of the swim team the Beijing Olympics. Mark is now the Director of Northern Arena and utilises his experience, enthusiasm and expertise to develop the swimming skills of children at Northern Arena Swim School. Dean Kent Dean Kent has represented New Zealand multiple times at pinnacle events including three Olympic Games in 2000, 2004 and 2008 and two Commonwealth Games in 2002 and 2006. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne Dean claimed a silver medal in the 200m individual medley and also set a New Zealand record in the 400m individual medley which he still holds today. Dean now works as the Head of Swimming and as a Swim Teacher at Northern Arena Learn to Swim and Fitness Facility in Silverdale, Auckland. Alan Kindred Alan was a New Zealand representative from 1968 to 1969 and is a former national champion and record holder. Alan held the national 400m freestyle title from 1967 to 1971 and also held titles in the 200m, 800m and 1500m freestyle during his time as a competitive swimmer. He held national records in the 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle. Cameron Gibson Cameron first represented New Zealand in 2002 at the Manchester Commonwealth Games and the Pan Pacific Championships that were held in Yokohama, Japan. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne Cameron claimed bronze in the 200m backstroke. Two years later at the FINA World Short Course Championships in Manchester he claimed bronze in the 4x100m medley relay.
