Participating in Napier Scooter Challenge 2023
Hawke's Bay
The Grand Annual Jolly Good Chaps Napier to Wellington 50cc Scooter Challenge is a somewhat torturous endurance charity event where participants ride a 50cc scooter from the Furniture Clearance Co carpark in Napier to Macs Brew Bar on Taranaki Wharf in Wellington, yes it's one hell of a ride!
This year we have made a slight change and are raising money for those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle in Hawkes Bay.
We will be splitting the funds 50/50 with Mike Kings "I Am Hope" and local Hawkes Bay charity the Jolly Good Chaps Charitable Trust with 100% of proceeds going to Hawkes Bay flood relief.
Awhi Trust is not being forgotten, Jolly Good Chaps are already planning a new challenge to raise funds for them later this year.
Thanks to the Awhi team for stepping aside to allow funds to go to the flood relief, you guys are super stars🌟🌟
The new date for the challenge is Saturday the 29th of April 2023.
