OLLIE THE-COCKATIEL'S EPIC KIWI ADVENTURE...

I'm Ollie - a hand-raised crippled Cockatiel! With the two ageing Teletubbies (Hoomum and Hoo-pop), we completed our walk, hike, hitch, paddle, ferry, whizzboat adventure of the North Island! I made a flock of new friends, raised $4800 for Te Araroa Trust, and $10,000 for animal charity HUHANZ. Then we set off to crawlie-walk the South Island and raise more money for charity. Tragically, Hoo-pop died while on our epic Kiwi adventure, and everything came to a screeching halt. But me and Hoomum are almost ready to get back out there and finish what we started (and in Hoo-pop's memory). My stories and tall tails (haha) are shared on Facebook and hope they inspire you to hop off the couch, go walkies, explore your local bush or beach, river trail, forest track, nature park, or just camp the night in your backyard. Where you can, include your feathered, hairy, scaled, hooved, or fur-baby in your adventure! I'll be working hard helping hoomans part with their money, so we as a flock can raise 'bizquillions' for the good eggs at HUHANZ; with all of it going towards helping the birdiful animals in their care (especially the wonky ones like me).
