Help us raise money for The Little Miracles Trust to support NICU babies and families in NZ
Dunedin, Otago
The short story of our micro prem baby girl.
Two years ago our world was rocked when I went into early labor at 26 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Delivered via C--Section a few days later our wee Evelynn June Aroha was born at Dunedin Hospital weighing just 1180 gm, 2 pounds 10 Oz, and around the size of a pump water bottle.
She was a fighter from the get go, but as a whanau we needed all the support possible to navigate the unknown days, weeks and in our case months spent in the NICU. Juggling a 12 month old at home, recovery from emergency surgery and a microprem who had an unknown medical journey ahead was daunting.
Here is where The Little Miracles Trust came in. They provided support and welcome packs a wonderful in unit support person, and amazing food and snacks on the unit
They fundraise for NICU units, provide equipment, fund research and support babies and families even after leaving the units.
We have the pleasure of having remained in touch attending playgroups and yearly celebrations for world prematurity day.
We are asking people to donate if they can to this wonderful organization on Evey's behalf for her 2nd birthday 🎂 🥳.
Every small bit helps and if we can help to support another family on the scary but beautiful journey of a NICU baby's start to life then we will be beyond blessed.
THANK YOU 💝💜
