In spite of the weather I managed to walk over 30 km. Unfortunately I didn't meet my monetary target, but I know times are tough for people. Thanks to those who did support Orphan's Aid International.
The team are on Rakiura Stewart Island doing the real walk now; I'm doing the virtual one. Have done about 20 km so far, and hoping to rack up a few more next week with a friend who is training for the Milford Track. Looks like the weather's improving, so should break the 30 km without too much trouble!
Unfortunately the weather has been against me but I'm still hoping for support for this wonderful organisation. So far I've walked 7.6 km but there's still plenty of days in November!
