Our Modern Earth was positioned to show at Basement Theatre in Auckland from 24-28 March.

Featuring an ensemble cast of dancers/movers, NASA footage, post-human costume and recycled materials to create a live art installation, Our Modern Earth was going to be a whirlwind of a performance!

But then Covid-19 came to town.. And with social distancing the new norm, we have had to unfortunately put this performance on hold.

The show's intention was to address climate change and human interaction with our planet over 3000 years. In starting these conversations, we recognised the need for systematic change and action beyond individuals only. We saw GenZero demanding action on climate change from Government and business and we wanted to support that.

So although theatres are shutting their doors, and the arts community is hurting, we recognise that our planet is still hurting too, and we want to support her by continuing this fundraiser for Generation Zero.
