    Thanks to everyone for the support we have received both monetary and personal. For me - i said i wouldn't do the K2M again, but when the opportunity came up and Amanda was keen - i thought - how hard could it be on a tandem - we got this! 2hrs 50mins - came in under the 3hr time frame. The weather was absolute rubbish - not what i had envisaged when we signed up, but hey ho - off we went.

  • 23 May Training Ride

    We cycled two thirds of the course today. It took us two hours - but to be fair we were cruising! On event day we start at 10am and prize giving is at 1pm, so we may have to put the pedal to the metal and give it some oomph!

  • Virtuous Ride for Veggies

    We had a great ride Sunday - went out to the local veggie shop where we collected our weekly veggies. Funny site if you were following us with a bunch of celery out one panier and a large leek out the other!

  • Inaugural deafblind Seminar

    This was an incredibly challenging and busy three days and most of the Board are sleep deprived but fizzing to be around the aroha and appreciation of people who are rarely the normal ones in the room. I felt very humbled and empowered after the event.

  • Deafblind Conference

    Off to Auckland on Sunday to assist with the annual Deafblind Conference. looking forward to meeting new people and new pooches! photo updates to follow.

      Edit: This was the deafblind inaugural seminar - hopefully it will become an annual event as it is important - all depends on funding.
