Participating in Drop for Youth 2024
Northland
I have always liked the idea of skydiving, but fear has held me back. I want to show my two young boys, and young people in the Far North, that by overcoming fear and life's obstacles you can grow and thrive in life.
Being Far North born and bred, I understand the challenges young people face in Te Tai Tokerau, and I also understand the importance of life skills education and the positive impact this can have - resilience, integrity, respecting yourself and your community, and fostering positive relationships.
So...
On 2nd November I will by jumping out of a plane at 12,000 feet to raise awareness and funds for Graeme Dingle Foundation Far North. I have worked with Graeme Dingle Foundation for the last 6 years and I have seen first hand the positive, long term changes they make in the lives of thousands of young people. Through two youth development programmes Kiwi Can and Nga Ara Whetu, they are changing lives and creating a stronger youth population in the Far North.
By supporting me in this challenge, you will be contributing to the lives of thousands of young people across the Far North. Thank you - and pray for me!!!
On Saturday 2 November 2024, skydive from 12,000 feet with 45 seconds of insane freefall and support the Graeme Dingle Foundation Far North.
