The 31 Day Booze Challenge

$1,285 donated
Given by 40 generous donors in 4 weeks

No booze - for 31 days! Those who know me, or have suffered at the hands of my drunken ramblings at 2am will know this IS a challenge.

Auckland

The Paddy is giving up booze for 31 days. What will happen once alcohol is no longer the primary substance in his blood system? What will sobriety look like? (Jeez I sound like an alchie - no comments please!)

But there is a good reason for this madness - my Dad.

He was an incredible man - as a doctor he was loved by his patients, as father and a family man he was the cornerstone of the Granville clan.

But diabetes robbed us of him.

He suffered in his later years badly from the effects of diabetes. No-one deserves that. So in my own small way I am helping to give back by raising funds for Diabetes NZ.

Alan Granville's involvement (page creator)

This money is going to Diabetes NZ.

Diabetes New Zealand is a charity that represents and supports people with diabetes. We’ve been around for over 50 years and have a National Office in Wellington, and branches across the country with staff and volunteers who help people live well with diabetes.
