The idea is to raise awareness of the importance of Parkinson suffers to be active and push back against this challenging disease, also to support the Waikato branch of the Parkinson’s New Zealand.
The Triathlon is held at Mount Maunganui in Tauranga on the 19th of November. We would love any supporters (Watch out for our snazzy red shirts!) to come and cheer. (Wear red if you dare!)

My Dad has Parkinson's and is working hard to push back against the effects and challenges that come with this condition that to this day has no known cure.
With this in mind, the challenge was made to help himself (and myself...) to keep active with a focus, a goal and a reason to keep active.
The idea is to raise awareness of the importance of the people living with Parkinson's to be active and push back against this condition.
