Fundraising for Waikato Breast Cancer. I have experienced first hand their amazing support and passion they have.
Waikato
I was diagnosed in July 2017 with an aggressive breast cancer at the age of 39.
I started chemo on the 1st August with 6mths treatment required. The Waikato Breast Clinic were amazing with efficiency and support getting everything moving quickly to ensure I had the best chance I could get. I am curable and have been very positive about everything I'm going through knowing full well there are others worse off than myself. My only side effect was my hairloss and now it has started to grow back.
In honour of that and my gratefulness of the support, I have chosen to fundraise and will dye my hair pink on the 6th January 2018, two days before my surgery.
My boss, Stuart Murphy, in support, will also dye his hair pink on the day.
