I'm riding 3000km self-supported, the length of Aotearoa. I'd love to raise at least a $1/km for Wellington Free Ambulance.

On 4 March I begin my big adventure, riding the Tour Aotearoa – a self-supported, 3000km bike ride over a maximum of 30 days.
Starting at Cape Reinga, I’ll be riding on a mixture of cycle trails, gravel roads, tracks and paths, all the way to Bluff. It’ll be an amazing adventure as well as a huge challenge. I only really started riding 14 months ago so it's been a steep learning curve and often painful one!
While I'm riding I thought I'd use this opportunity to raise money for Wellington Free Ambulance. Wellington Free provides a fantastic 24/7 paramedic emergency service. They get some government funding but rely heavily on donations to keep them operational. Family members and friends have benefited from this amazing service, so this is small way for me to say thank you.
If you’re able to give a little, please do. You never know when you might need them!
Thanks in advance, from me and Wellington Free Ambulance, for your support 😊
WFA has helped members of my family so I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the amazing service they have provided.
Thanks so much Craig and Vicky - really generous of you. Unfortunately I had to finish the ride in Hokitika due to the lockdown situation here in NZ. We completed about 2500km of the 3000km tour, so will just have to go back and finish it some other time. We had an amazing time so I can't complain. I hope you are all staying safe and well in these very strange times. Take care, Love Paula
Thanks so much Bully! Had to end the adventure in Hokitika but had the most amazing time. Hope you and your family are safe and well. Paula
Thanks Jane! Made it as far as Hokitika before we had to pull the pin. The legendary Richard Lindsay came to our rescue, so we are home safe and well now. Had an absolute blast, so will just have to finish it off some other time. Hope you and your family are safe and well. Paula :)
