I am running the Auckland Marathon in aid of Mercy Ships, bringing hope and healing to the world's poor.

Auckland

Mercy Ships is an organisation that brings hope and healing by sending a surgical hospital ship to some of the poorest people in the world who have no chance of healthcare and life saving surgery.

Patrick Clissold's involvement (page creator)

I volunteered on the Africa Mercy in 2015 as a fitter/mechanic with my wife who was one of the Doctors onboard. We were in Madagascar, bringing surgery and healthcare to people who had no chance of receiving it otherwise. I saw first hand what a difference the ship and organisation made.
