Kia Maumahara ki tōu Mana Āhua Ake - Cherish your absolute uniqueness. This whakataukī has guided the Polyfest for many years. For the entire Otago Polyfest team, the expression of absolute uniqueness was fully present at the Forsyth Barr stadium on Thursday 21 May. It was an honour and joy to witness the excitement and a special privilege to join the line-up of brave champions! Thank you Te Hou Ora. Fa'afetai tele lava to the generous donors who helped me to raise a few more dollars for this mammoth effort. Thank you!

It takes a Village - Gratitude

Incredible village vibes! The Otago Polyfest team was blown away by the mahi undertaken by Des and Dan, Gabby and Aidan and the entire Te Hou Ora whānau to deliver the iconic Ōtepoti event - Toss the Boss and make Otago Polyfest the recipient of this kaupapa. ♥️🎯💯 There were a few gaps to fill yesterday, and it was an honour to be *tossed* for the Otago Polyfest.
