Pistol Cup 2015 - Half Marathon

The first Pistol Cup is now complete with a great turn out in Whenuapai on Sunday.

It bucketed down for the first half of the morning but then the sun came out for the duration of the race.

I managed to complete the course a little over my projected time but it was a great experience to be a part of. Pete was there with me all the way but particularly in the last third where I really needed it.

I want to say a big Thanks to all the people who generously donated to this cause, I've been blown away with the amount it has reached!

I know the money raised will be well used at the Malaghan Institute, who greatly appreciate the generosity from everyone.
