I’m so overwhelmed by the amazing support I have received from you all. The kidney society raised over $11000 well over the goal they set.

The walk went really well, the bridge was rocking from the wind but otherwise perfect t weather for walking. Thank you to my sister Barbara and friend Tess for walking with me. Thank you to my son Rob who ran his first marathon, didn’t feel well and the next day tested positive for covid!!

    Nga mihi

    Brigid

Did you know that Māori and Pacifica people have a much higher chance of developing kidney disease?Jonah Lomu was diagnosed with a kidney disease at the peak of his rugby career, he died at the age of 40!

The kidney society does fantastic work in supporting people with kidney disease and we hope to raise $10,000 to continue to offer this support. Please give to help us reach this goal.

Thank you to all those who have been very generous in donating to us so far we have reached 1/2 point in our goal.
