Racing For Awareness: Ironman 70.3 Challenge Against Dementia

$3,760 of $1,000 goal
Given by 59 generous donors in 4 weeks

I am competing in my first Ironman 70.3 to support my mother and other sufferers with Dementia in NZ.

Auckland

At the start of November 2024, I will be taking part in my first Ironman 70.3 (Melbourne) to raise funds and awareness for early onset dementia. This is inspired by my incredible mum, who is bravely living with both Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's.

Recently she showcased her vulnerability and strength on the TV show "The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes"*, reminding us all of the power of resilience her and the other volunteers have while bringing early onset dementia into the spotlight.

Your support can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by dementia. Every donation helps fund vital support and services for families like ours and others across New Zealand through the Young Onset Dementia Collective (YODC).
