Raising money to help those affect by the 15th March attacks.
Canterbury
Having been in London during the attacks in 2005, I have seen the impact these events have on not only those directly involved but also the wider community and the Country as a whole.
Having moved to NZ in 2011 with my wife from the UK, I have been really overwhelmed with the 'Kiwi spirit' that seems to develop in times of hardship. It is not only evident in times of major hardship (during the Earthquakes or on 15th March for example) but even when the events are on a much smaller or perhaps local scale. This is something that I want my children to also have ingrained in them as Kiwi's and is in part what makes me so thankful and proud to call New Zealand my home.
I am not a keen runner and definitely carry way too much timber to ever complete in a competitive time, but I decided to enter a 10km race in a little over 3 weeks time to raise some money for those affected.
Whilst only on a very small scale, I wanted in my own way to try and help those affected and to let them know I am thinking of them and I am here to help in any way I can.
Thanks in advance of any donations you might like to make.

Whilst I was not directly affected by the attacks on 15th March, I wanted to in my own little way try and help the families & victims that were.
