Rescue Helicopter Run
Cromwell, Otago
After a health hiccup in our family in late February, I have decided to split my fundraising run between the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter.
I have had to postpone the Catalan run in Scotland due to logistics, however instead will now be running 100km in late May/June in one go.
The Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter Trust is a lifeline—there when things go pear-shaped. It is especially important for these regions which have a lot of people living and working in areas that are difficult to service by ambulance, or when time is critical to outcomes.
Helicopters are not cheap to run so any small donation helps to keep them in the sky. It is not something that anyone wishes to need, but when it is needed is a massive help.
