Hey guys, Emily here, just a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. The other week we all attended the first Kenneth Redbullking mini stock car race and the organizers very kindly donated the entry fees to our cause which was $240. Freya then rounded that up to $300 because she is eager to get the waxing started. The race was wonderful, it was great to see so many people turn out for it and quite emotional for all who knew Kenneth. So Friday is waxing day and I shall be videoing the whole thing, hopefully its not too painful for Sam. Thanks again, please keep sharing and donating.
Thank you everyone who has donated so far! Sam is getting a little nervous at the thought of his leg wax but we are all pretty excited to have come this far. My brother pointed out that we need people to see the 'canvas' so I have added a picture of him so you can all see his marvelous beard and hair. BOPRC Stockcar Club are running the ' Kenneth Redbullking O'sullivan' 119m Memorial meeting on the 14th of Sept. These guys have made a trophy in memory of Kenneth so Freya and I are going to be taking a box down to collect some donations, hopefully we can get nearer that first goal. Kenneth loved his stockcar racing (and almost anything to do with cars!) so it will be good to be there to see who wins his trophy. Thanks again everyone and keep sharing! x
Hey, Emily here, (Sam's partner). Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has donated so far, it really means a lot to us. Today it has been one month since Kenneth passed away and I have spent the day with Freya (My sister and Kenneth's partner). Freya got her tattoo today to remember Kenneth so I got to go and hold her hand and distract her. It was quite fitting, we were talking about when she got her first one and Kenneth pretended to do it, waving the tattoo gun around, making us all laugh. This week as well we had a lovely email of support from Sally Sprosen from Auckland CF, its really positive to have this kind of support. It seems surreal that a whole month has gone, I said to Freya today that although I have loved spending so much time with her, I kinda wish I wasn't. I wish she could be spending time with her Kenneth. We will have a Honey Woodstock tonight (his fave drink) and think of him. Emily
And so we have begun our journey to raise money in memory of Kenneth. We have missed him so much since he has been gone. Freya has offered to shave my hair off (she did Kenneth's) and we all think that Kenneth would appreciate the laughs this will bring.
