Day 1
21 April 2026-
Original plan was Gisborne to Ōpōtiki over Motu and Pahiki track. The track was not an option in torrential rain, so decided to go SH2. Then a big slip closed that road. Managed to get a ride to Te Araroa, left Gisborne at 5am. Looppppong day
