Return of the HUK Kings - Climb 4 Youth 2022

  • They did it!

Posted by: Graeme Dingle Foundation Waikato

    What a day!

A total of 70 climbers came together on Saturday to complete between 1 and 8 laps of the Hakarimata Upper Lookout (via Kauri Loop) Track within 4 hours. Through this, our second ever Climb 4 Youth event achieved:

    👏 A total of 284 return trips (852kms)

👏 Over $23,000 in fundraising so far (over $179,400 of returns for our community!!)

👏 Proof that we can overcome life’s obstacles

A big tino pai rawa atu to all the 2022 climbers, volunteers, donors and business supporters. All of this would not be made possible without your continued support.

We are also hugely grateful for the number of generous event-specific sponsors: Kennards Hire Te Rapa, Studio 386 Screenprint, Countdown Supermarkets Bridge Street, Mobicomm Limited, PrintRun, H3 Group NZ, Bivouac Outdoor Hamilton, and Stuff Waikato.

We are still trying to reach our fundraising goal, so please donate and ensure we can continue empowering our youth through our programmes!
