Fundraising for I Am Hope Foundation

Waikato

Hey,

We are Amara & Talya, we have decided to challenge ourselves to cycle from Cape Reinga to Bluff (the length of Aotearoa) on November 1st to raise awareness and funds for I AM HOPE, Gumboot Friday, a cause that is close to our hearts.

Like many kiwis, we've seen first hand how many deeply mental health affects individuals, families and communities across Aotearoa, and we want to do our part to support those struggle silently.

This ride will push us physically and mentally, with long days, tough weather, and moments where quitting feels easier - but that's the point. We hope this journey inspires courage and reminds anyone struggling that they are not alone, to dig deep, ask for help and come out stronger on the other side.

Check out I AM HOPE’s pages for more information!

So if you are willing to help make a change and support I AM HOPE, any small donation would be very much appreciated and will be a massive help!

Follow cycleaotearoa4iamhope on Instagram to keep up with our journey through training and cycling the length of Aotearoa.

Save the date - 1st November 2026 leaving Cape Reinga.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
