Keeping our children safe!
Canterbury
The 3rd of January 2022 will be the 8th anniversary of my beautiful little sisters sudden and tragic death. My best little mates life gone too soon.
Courtenay was a real star - happy, smart, talented, and beautiful.
And now, since she passed away from Meningitis, all we have left is a memory. A memory not to be forgotten. A strong memory which I hope can help many others not have to live with only a memory.
I am setting a challenge in order to raise funds and awareness of Meningitis, the vaccines available to prevent the disease, and the information and support available about how to notice the symptoms, and what care to seek.
I will be cycling the entire Alps 2 Ocean cycle trail in one go, 315km in less than 24 hours, a challenge to prove that every second counts. The 3rd January in remembrance of my sister Courtenay.
Feel free to join in sections of the trail, vouch your support at donations centres, purchase our Every Second Counts wrist bands, and sign the petition and donate to our Non profit Organisation.
Everyone should have the right to protect their children’s well being - and we all love making moments rather than remembering memories.
Please sign the petition to make the Bextrow vaccine free and readily available for all children and college students and donate to help the Meningitis foundation create a world free of the devastating disease. I asked the hard questions to have my own young daughter vaccinated, and now I want to help you all too. Every little bit helps, and Every Second Counts.
