Day 64 (Whangarei - Kerikeri)

I made it into Kerikeri yesterday. The weather forecast was accurate; showers. It made me smile every time the rain cleared and the sun light would shine through the parting clouds. Most of the day was quite arduous. Nose to the grind. Just as I was coming into town I saw a sign for organic fruit and vegetables. They were selling local bananas! The climate is almost ideal for growing bananas. Nice and warm/humid. This may sound crazy, and it does to me, but I'm going to try and ride 370km in 3 days. There aren't many places to stay, so my days will need to be longer to compensate... Not exactly looking forward to the 4:30am starts. But I am looking forward to hitting Cape Reinga!!
