One Mountain, 38 times, how hard can it be?
Bay of Plenty
So my son has been kind enough to challenge me to take part in The Mount Everest Challenge 2018. It didn't take much convincing as I love walking around the Mount already, but combining this with raising money for the Waipuna Hospice just makes it all the more worth while.
The goal is to climb the Mount 38 times in 50 days to support the Waipuna Hospice for all of its efforts, which is the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest.
This by no means will be an easy task, mentally or physically, so I ask that anyone who can support me over the next 50 days either by donating to this page or walking up the mount with me! I have walked up the mount before but certainly have not done this on a regular basis so watch this space.
The Mount Everest Challenge has raised well over $200,000 for local charities in the past, and we want to make this year the biggest yet!
What an opportunity for getting out and being active, while supporting an awesome cause at the same time.
The Mount Everest Challenge is back! Join us and Climb the Mount 38 times in 50 days to raise money for Waipuna Hospice.
