Raising funds for Hospice Tairāwhiti in memory of my father Zac (Derek) Smith.

I am running for my father Zac (Derek) Smith who passed away 19 December 2021. Hospice Tairāwhiti helped my father as he battled cancer and I want to say a massive thank you to Hospice for making my father’s wish of a family holiday come true. I would like to help another patient’s wish come true by running the Mount Maunganui Half Marathon on Saturday 27 August 2022 and donating all of the proceeds raised to Hospice Tairāwhiti.

Hospice Tairāwhiti offers free community-based hospice services for the people of Tairāwhiti, from Morere to Potaka. We offer specialised care for people with life limiting conditions with a focus on improving quality of life.
