We are in the last couple of days of this wonderful campaign. We are so grateful to every single person who has donated to this campaign. We have surpassed all our expectations. Thank you all so much for being involved in this fantastic endeavour! We have raised over $20k for Yellow Brick Road to help support whanau who are looking after loved ones with mental health issues. This money is so important. As you may be aware whanau are the first line of support and the last. They work 24/7 to uplift their loved ones with very little recognition. Yellow Brick Road acts as a support network and compass for those who need it most.
A big thank you to the over 600 people who walked or ran on Saturday. It was so overwhelming for us as a family. The page is open for another week, closing on Katie's birthday. Please continue to share and contribute. Every dollar counts.
We have shot past our goal and raised $13k!!! So exciting! The response from all of you is phenomenal. Let's not forget that this is all about Run for Mums! It's on SATURDAY, 15th August at 8 am. We have two centres taking part - Dunedin (meeting at Cnr of Castle and Howe) and Auckland (Bouy Cafe, Westhaven to Swashbucklers). There is also a rumour of something in Christchurch!! Run, walk, bike, but just move for Mums everywhere. And keep the donations coming!
