Fundraising for Sands Manawatu/Horowhenua

A little over a year ago, we lost our nephew Onyx Tyndall Theodore Dahl, in an unexplained death during birth. This was absolutely heartbreaking for our families and this has since shed light on the unspoken nature of miscarriages, stillborns and infant death. Kyle, Adam (close family friend) & I are not runners but have been pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones and are going to run a Full Marathon - 42km(Kyle & Adam) & a Half Marathon - 21km (Jacynda). We want to give back to the wonderful group - SANDS Manawatu - a voluntary group of parents affected by infant loss - who made a room available for us at the PN Hospital when we truly needed it! All money raised will go to Sands Manawatu to help them continue to up keep this room and be there for families!!

Postponed Run :( 30 October 2021

Morning everyone - first of all I wanted to say the biggest THANK YOU! To each and everyone of you for your donations supporting this amazing charity SANDS! Unfortunately Covid being back in the community has mean that the Queenstown Marathon has been postponed to next year :( we will still be running but it will be next at this stage but we will keep you all updated on our run and any changes xx again thanks team and have a wonderful weekend - Jacynda & Kyle
