12 farmers have committed suicide in the last month. This came up over dinner the other night. -Now I can’t confirm this statistic but from the most recent data I can confirm that there are 538 suspected suicides in the 2020/2021 financial year.- This sent a shiver down my spine and left me feeling helpless. I have decided my first step in trying to help is doing the Auckland half marathon as a charity run for Will To Live. If I am only able to help one person I will take that as a win.
