When I was 17 years old I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Since then I have had two surgeries, one in 2017 and one in 2019. I am now 22 and take oral chemo every day twice daily to keep my tumour stable. The oral chemo gives me an opportunity to continue doing the things I enjoy, such as my Nursing Training, Sports, and Work.

I am running the Emmerson's Dunedin Half Marathon on the 11th of September in hopes of raising money for Brain Tumour Support NZ.
