Running 42.195 km for Hato Hone St John

On 6 September 2026, our team will take on the North Shore Marathon, running 42.195 kilometres to raise funds for Hato Hone St John.

For us, this isn't just about crossing the finish line—it's about supporting the people who are there when New Zealanders face some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Every day, Hato Hone St John paramedics and volunteers respond to emergencies, providing life-saving care to people they've never met. They don't hesitate, no matter the time, the weather, or the situation. They simply answer the call.

Our challenge is to complete one marathon. Their challenge is to be ready every single day.

By supporting our marathon, you're helping Hato Hone St John continue providing essential emergency ambulance services, community programmes, training, and life-saving equipment across New Zealand.

Every kilometre we run is dedicated to the incredible men and women who dedicate their lives to helping others.

If you're able, please consider making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a real difference.

Thank you for supporting our team as we run 42.195 km on 6 September 2026—and thank you for helping Hato Hone St John continue saving lives across New Zealand.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
